The Farm at Glenwood Mountain Wedding | New Jersey

I was looking forward to Kendahl and Mike’s wedding for months, and when the day finally came I was SO excited. After being in touch with Kendahl and Mike for a year through the wedding planning process and after their insanely fun engagement session, I knew they were going to have such a great wedding. Each night I would drive by the farm at Glenwood Mountain and see it all lit up, I would just count down the days until they’d be celebrating there.

Kendahl and Mike had the most gorgeous summer day for their wedding on the farm! It was a scorcher but it made the wildflower, forest vibe feel even that much more alive. I have to say, I’m pretty obsessed with the theme of Kendahl and Mike’s wedding. They chose to work with as many local vendors as possible, use secondhand finds and DIY a lot of the details as well! It was pretty much the most quintessential boho, cottagecore, farm wedding you could imagine. It was a vibe and I loved it!

It was the most chill morning you could ever imagine. Every encounter I had with the wedding party or family was just so lovely and all anyone wanted was for Kendahl and Mike to have the best day ever. My favorite part of the morning while Kendahl was getting her flower crown fitted and her bridesmaids surrounded her smiling, she said in the calmest, content voice, “I just feel so happy”. Yeah, I almost cried after that! After an adorable first look with her dad and an excited wedding party on their way to the venue, it was time to get the wedding on the road and the first step was Kendahl and Mike’s first look.

This first look was everything you expected it to be from Kendahl and Mike. Kendahl was excited and energetic, ready to see her future husband, and Mike was calm and just hoping Kendahl was having the most magical morning ever. When he saw her he couldn’t believe his eyes. The excitement that ran through them was everything you want on a wedding day and they were SO ready to tie the knot! We hid in the shade and took Kendahl and Mike’s portraits near the ceremony space before meeting up with the rest of the wedding party and family.

After spending the hours leading up to the ceremony in high heat with family and friends all laughing and smiling through the sweat, you knew they were truly happy to be there for Kendahl and Mike. Their mountaintop ceremony also reflected just that. With a small audience of guests and a handful of special speakers to celebrate Kendahl and Mike, a warm summer breeze surrounded us, and it was perfect.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and joy as guests toasted Kendahl and Mike with their signature drink dedicated to their dog Lizzy, little girls danced the night away to Lady Gaga, and everyone meandered the farm taking in the day. We couldn’t end the night without some sunset portraits in the garden (probably some of my favorites from the day)! I couldn’t have imagined a more fitting day for these two and I feel so lucky to have been part of it.
