Ashley and Michael's wedding could not have turned out more perfectly for them. Their venue, details, and entire day came together seamlessly. Between pouring rain and hot summer sun, Ashley and Michael finally tied the knot with their friends and family as witnesses. It was a joy to capture their wedding after years leading up to this moment.

I started the morning with Ashley and the girls getting ready, by shooting Ashley's details. Everything blended together so beautifully and truly spoke to who Ashley is as a person and a bride. Until that point, no one had seen Ashley's dress yet. It was so fun to capture her dress and all of her family's reactions to it. It made the wedding day feel so real! Once the girls were ready and the rain had passed, it was time for Ashley and Michael's first look.

Michael waited anxiously and as soon as they saw each other, it was like a wave of relief. Finally together, forever. We took some portraits at the venue in two very different locations. Both felt so true to Ashley and Michael. The field is exactly what you imagine for their hometown of Sussex. Rural, natural, beautiful. And the trucks at the fire station were bold and vibrant, just like Ashley and Michael as a couple. We then took some pictures with their wedding party, which was a blast! They were all just so excited for Ashley and Michael to tie the knot.

Then, it was finally time for the ceremony. They got married in the local firehouse surrounded by friends and family. The ceremony was short and sweet as they made their vows. It was then time to party! Ashley changed into the cutest black dress that showed off her boots perfectly. The wedding party and newlyweds were then introduced and it was time for Ashley and Michael's first dance. They had a choreographed dance that had the whole room surprised, and cheering the entire dance! From then on it was an absolute party with their favorite people. Ashley and Michael's wedding couldn't have felt more unique to them with little details sprinkled throughout. They are now officially on their way, to their happily ever after.
