This evening with Emily and Angel was just so much fun. It called for rain all day, and overcast skies at the beginning of our session led to a gorgeous sunset! I absolutely loved how excited they were to be in front of the camera. They were absolute naturals and were so giggly the entire time! Not to mention we were able to shoot in probably the most iconic spot in my hometown, the Appalachian Trail Boardwalk. This fall evening was filled with nostalgia and young love.
Emily and Angel's story began not too long ago down in Florida! They both were participating in the Disney College Program down in Walt Disney World. They instantly hit it off the moment they met. The first day they hung out, they spent the night in a club in Orlando and just couldn't stop talking! From then on, they spent the rest of their DCP going into the Disney Parks together, getting to know each other, and becoming truly inseparable. Emily and Angel are movie lovers, and their love of Disney brought them together. Their perfect date night is sneaking Chipotle into movie theaters, and eating tons of popcorn!
As a couple, they are fun loving, goofy, and adventurous. And that's exactly what their proposal was like too! It was their first time back in Walt Disney World together since the college program. That day, they were in the Magic Kingdom and Emily could tell something was up with Angel. They stopped in front of the castle and Angel got down on one knee and proposed! It was such a beautiful moment and the surrounding crowd cheered for them.
Emily says she's never met anyone she instantly connected with like Angel. The endless conversations and understanding between them are what she loves most about being with him. Angel fell in love the moment he met Emily. The happiness she radiates brings him a joy he can't wait to have forever. Emily and Angel can't wait for their wedding day this June. Once they're married, they are most excited to dance the night away celebrating with their family and friends!
