Steph and Shawn's wedding is one I'll never forget. The atmosphere their friends and family created, along with the joy and excitement of a wedding day, was truly unmatched. Every part of the day was absolutely perfect, from the timing to the details and everything in between!

The star of the morning was of course Steph and Shawn's dog, Piper. She wore a bandana that read, "My humans are getting married" which was so cute. Once Steph was ready, she did a first look with her bridesmaids and it was so exciting! Their reactions were priceless and they were all so happy for Steph and Shawn. Next was her first look with her dad which was so sweet. They laughed and cried and shared a really memorable moment together.

At that point, it was time for Steph and Shawn's first look! We did it down by the pond at Emmerich Tree Farm and it was perfect. Their portraits encapsulate Steph and Shawn perfectly! They were so excited to finally have seen each other and spend the day celebrating their love. The backdrop was so pretty between the wildflowers, string lights, and the view of the mountain.

Next, the ceremony took place at the overlook which was stunning. It was so simple yet just beautiful. From then on, it was time to party! The wedding party entrances were so great, including Steph and Shawn's! Their details were rustic and simple which fit the venue perfectly. The most unique part was the table centerpieces which included cards with wedding advice from Steph's fourth-grade students. They were just too funny! During the reception Steph and Shawn had their first dance, parent dances, and speeches done. Michele and Richie who were the maid of honor and best man, are also siblings, so their speeches were so fun to listen to and were from such unique perspectives both being so close with Steph and Shawn!

The rest of the night was an absolute party. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long! I was able to sneak away with Steph and Shawn for sunset portraits that have to be my favorite from the entire day! Just as we were finishing up we saw a storm rolling in. The clouds in the sky turned so moody and just as we were taking our last pictures, the sky opened up. From there on out, it stormed off and on the rest of the night bringing such an intense vibe to the wedding! The day was topped off with an ice cream cake and truck from Dairy-O which I think had to be the best cap for a wedding ever. After the most perfect day, I cannot wait to see where this new journey will take Steph and Shawn!
