I'm not even sure where to begin with Elise and George's gorgeous wedding day. It truly was the most quintessential, summer Vermont wedding you could ever imagine. The handmade details seamlessly intertwined with more classy elements, coming together for the perfect balance of boho and romance. Not to mention the absolute genuine kindness and joy that not only radiates from Elise and George but every single person who was there to celebrate them.

Something different about this wedding day that I was really looking forward to was actually meeting up with the guys first! I got to shoot some of George's details and getting ready which was so much fun. I love seeing the contrast of of the guys vs. the girls mornings because usually they are quite different. But after a morning of mountain biking and swimming, George and his groomsmen were so chill but eager to start the day. Afterwards, I headed over to the beautiful Airbnb where Elise was getting ready. It was truly a party in there! While she didn't have a ton of details, they are still some of my favorites. Simple, elegant, and handmade.

Once we were through getting ready and grabbing some wedding party shots, it was time for the ceremony. Elise and George opted to wait until the ceremony to see each other and it was so sweet. Elise walked down the aisle as her maid of honor and her partner played everyone in. Their ceremony was filled with stories, promises, and laughs. Almost everyone was beaming from ear to ear the entire time. The petal toss at the end was so magical and brought such fun element to the excitement at the end of their ceremony!

Following the ceremony, we got a few more wedding party shots before doing Elise and George's portraits. Sleepy Hollow Inn made the most stunning backdrop for their pictures. Elise and George are complete naturals in front of the camera, and it's so clear how in love they are based on the emotion in the photos. They made their way into cocktail hour to mingle and celebrate. After some toasts and speeches, it was time for Elise and George's first dance under the pavilion. Everyone surrounded them before joining in and getting the party started!

From then on out it was a joyous celebration. Great food, great music, and TONS of dancing! Elise even capped off the night with an outfit change into an amazing pair of white overalls and pink boots. It was a blast just being there and capturing all the happiness as the reception went into the night, and I know it will continue for years to come.
