When Amanda and Luciano reached out about doing an engagement session in Stowe, I was so excited! Stowe in the winter is a magical place. They had timed it perfectly! The snow had stuck around despite a bit of a warm up. February has brought us some sun which we missed, but the clouds parted for a perfect view of Mt. Mansfield for the most dramatic, mountain backdrop. It was the perfect afternoon!
Amanda and Luciano have been making the same trip to Stowe, every February, for years now. It has become such a special tradition for them to do together. I loved that to celebrate their engagement, they decided to do some photos in a place that's so meaningful to them! Together, they appreciate the simplicities in life. And a mountain getaway is just the thing they love to do. The only thing missing was their dog, Ruben!
Amanda and Luciano's story began years ago, on Bumble. They connected, and took several months to get to know each other and create such a special bond. Although they didn't live close together, they put in the time, went on dates, and ultimately fell in love! After their first trip to Stowe together, they knew they were meant to be. Simple days that include walking on the beach, having homemade cocktails, and trying new restaurants are their favorite ways to spend time together. Luciano asked Amanda to marry him on a trip to Florida. He had planned a romantic dinner by the pier, just the two of them. He suggested they go on a walk to catch the sunset before dinner and that's when he proposed. It was an intimate moment just for them. Both Amanda and Luciano cannot wait to celebrate this summer at their wedding! Sharing their vows, including Ruben, and being surrounded by all of their friends and family.
