Zenbarn Farms Wedding

Melanie and Quinn described their dream wedding as fun, laid back, colorful, summery, and boho. It was exactly that! Their wedding day could not have turned out more perfect. From their details, to their loving family and friends, and the ice cream truck obviously...it was a dream. After keeping an eye on this rainy Vermont summer, we knew that morning we weren't going to be able to avoid it all day. But, after looking back at the absolute blizzard we did their engagement session in, they were up for anything! I'm so glad they trusted me and took a chance on getting some gorgeous pictures in the rain.

That morning I met up with Melanie and the gals at the Airbnb upstairs at Zenbarn. It's such a fun space and truly SO convenient when you're having your wedding there! I took some time to shoot Mel's details which I was in love with. They were colorful and summery, yet so romantic. Not to mention those custom embroidered Blundstones! Once the girls were ready, we took a few fun pictures outside and popped champagne. After, Melanie got dressed and decided to have a surprise first look with her dad. It was so sweet and you could tell how excited he was for Melanie to marry Quinn.

At that point, it was time for their first look. The rain had let up just enough to head out under the big tree behind the property. Even in the drizzle Melanie and Quinn were just excited to finally see each other. Under the cover of the oak tree, when Quinn saw Melanie he was immediately emotional. They took a few moments to soak it all in that they were finally getting married. We spent as much time as we could under that tree taking some portraits until the weather got the best of us. We then headed inside for some wedding party pictures in the indoor ceremony space. Melanie and Quinn were surrounded by family and friends who were so joyful and happy for them.

The ceremony was officiated by Melanie's grandmother which was so sweet. It was funny, sentimental, and so heartfelt. After they exchanged their vows, they officially tied the knot! From then on it was a celebration. Everyone danced, shared thoughtful memories during some toasts, and absolutely adored the ice cream truck! The night was full of festivity, all celebrating the newlyweds. It's a wedding I'll never forget!
